Introduction and Welcome to our Workshop

Javier Calderón, President of CMI International Group, LLC launched the workshop with a warm welcome to everyone attending the International Workshop. To begin with, he gave a presentation that covers the history of CMIIG, the framework for the week-long workshop, and the objectives of the program.

The Workshop emulates the most advanced research on human behavior in educational philosophy and pedagogical work. This, coupled with the vast experience of our world famous instructors, brings about proven techiniques that make leaders excel in the areas of negotiation and leadership.

Javier Calderón emphasized the value of the negotiation workshop and its continued success over the past 16 years in providing quality training to a variety of senior executives, organizations, businesses, and countries.  We will continue the legacy founded by our deceased founder of the program, Harvard Professor Roger Fisher and his colleagues.

The foundation of our training services is a powerful, flexible framework developed at the Harvard Negotiation Project, which we have rigorously tested and refined to ensure it is the best training program in the world.   Our goal is to have the participants receive instruction that will heighten their ability to negotiate and allow them to carry out effective leadership in managing relationships on behalf of themselves as individuals and their organizations.

Javier Calderón closed the presentation with a confident statement that “We believe this week will be a great professional and worthwhile experience for all of you.”
